User agreement and acceptance
By accessing and using PassGuard Check (the “Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “User”) and PassGuard Check. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using PassGuard Check, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

- Generating secure passwords for your own use
- Learning about password security best practices
- Checking passphrases against common password databases
Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to test passwords you do not own or have authorization to test
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service at scale
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service’s infrastructure or servers

Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
PassGuard Check makes no warranties or representations about:
- The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of password strength assessments
- The security of passwords generated by the Service
- The Service’s availability, uptime, or freedom from errors
- The suitability of the Service for any particular purpose
While we strive to provide accurate password strength analysis, the Service is an educational tool and should not be relied upon as the sole method for evaluating password security. We recommend using established password managers and following industry best practices for credential management.
The Service analyzes passwords based on common patterns, dictionary words, and entropy calculations. However, no password strength checker can guarantee absolute security, and determined attackers may use methods not accounted for in our analysis.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PASSGUARD CHECK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
This includes, but is not limited to, damages for:
- Loss of data, passwords, or account access
- Unauthorized access to your accounts or systems
- Security breaches resulting from weak passwords
- Reliance on password strength assessments provided by the Service
- Service interruptions, errors, or unavailability
In no event shall PassGuard Check’s total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which is zero, as the Service is free).
You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk and are solely responsible for:
- Choosing and managing your passwords
- Securing your accounts and devices
- Following security best practices
- Using trusted password managers for storing credentials
